Citroen Vans: Meet the Fleet
Citroën Berlingo Van
Having undergone a revamp in 2015, which introduced refreshed looks and more advanced Euro6-compatible diesel engines, the Citroën Berlingo
certainly is the next step up from its older, but smaller sister, Nemo.
Available, in a range of trim levels and two lengths that promise a load capacity of up to 4.1m³/850kg, the Citroën Berlingo clearly comes well equipped. All panel vans, from the X, to the LX and even the Enterprise XTR models feature a Teletrac Smartnav navigation and Trackstar vehicle tracking. While the top specification Enterprise gets a DAB Radio and 7 inch Bluetooth colour Touch Screen, bringing useful technology and fingertip control.
The Berlingo’s interior is impressively dynamic; with a range of seat configurations where one seat has the capability of doubling up as an on-the-go desk. There is also a crew van model that can seat up to five people for spacious transportation requirements.
Performance from all versions of the 1.6-litre diesel engine is impressive. The newer models are fitted with BlueHDi engines and the Citroën Berlingo is equipped with the most efficient diesel emission control technology that meets the new Euro 6 regulations.
The Citroën Berlingo's versatility and comprehensive range of set-ups, extensive load capacity and comfort levels all combine to help it meet the requirements of almost any business today.
The All New Citroën Dispatch Van
The next member of Citroën’s van fleet is 2016’s refresh of the 21-year-old Citroen Dispatch
. With 600,000 models of its predecessor produced, it certainly has a lot to live up to.
The all-New Citroën Dispatch truly embodies the mix and match potential that customers have come to expect of panelled vans. The Dispatch’s efficient architecture adapts to all needs for a greater functionality. In addition to the two original tried and tested 4.94m and 5.3m lengths, there is now an all new XS Compact: Just like the new M (medium) and XL (long) models, the XS has a payload capacity of up to 1,400kg and a load capacity of up to 5.1m3 plus a useable floor load of up to 3.3m3. Being shorter, the all-New Dispatch can squeeze into tighter spaces and manoeuvre with surprising ease.
Another key new feature is the Dispatch’s height. Being limited to 1.90m on all XS and M versions (1.94m on the XL version) means that the New Citroën Dispatch can easily access the majority of car parks and height restricted zones.
This limited height doesn’t however limit the van’s overall performance. The Citroën Dispatch modular platform - based on the EMP2 - offers up to 1,400kg in payload and 6.6m3 of load volume, can tow up to 2.5 tonnes and can transport up to nine people.
The all New Citroën Dispatch is both compact, practical and safe. It also incorporates the latest generations of driving aid technologies and engines and is the first vehicle of its type to offer hands-free sliding side doors and a head-up display, providing unlimited possibilities for you and your business.
